Last updated: April 14, 2026

Kitchup is a meal planning and recipe management app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

Data We Collect

How We Use Your Data

All data is used solely to provide and operate the app. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or tracking. Your recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists exist only to serve you and your household members.

Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. Your data is stored in Supabase's cloud infrastructure. Supabase's own privacy policy governs their handling of data on their platform.

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes subscription status and purchase receipts. Payment details (credit card numbers, billing addresses) are handled by Apple or Google and are never sent to or stored by Kitchup or RevenueCat. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash reporting services.

Data Retention

Your data is stored for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account using the in-app Delete Account feature on the Profile screen, all your personal data is permanently removed.

Your Rights

Children's Privacy

Kitchup is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
